| PART 1 (Full Time)Weeks 1 & 2 | Sunday 11.03.12 – Saturday 24.03.12 inclusive |
Students attend the school for a two week residential course for the initial input and practical aspects of the course. Week one runs from Sunday to Saturday (inclusive) - week two from Monday to Saturday (inclusive).
Hours:
Initial Sunday & both Saturdays 0900hrs – 1800hrs
Mondays – Fridays (incl.) 0900hrs – 2100hrs,
Second Sunday is free time

A six week home based study period, for revision and completion of case studies.
Case Studies cut-off date for receipt – Wednesday 09.05.12 Feedback returned to students – Week Commencing 18.06.12
| PART 3(Part Time) Weeks 9 - 14 | Sunday 06.05.12 – Saturday 16.06.12 |
Six weeks for the completion of the home-based, open book examination. Exam papers must be received by the cut-off of Wednesday 20.06.12 otherwise they will not be marked until the completion of the course following.
Results returned to students – Week commencing 30.07.12

During the six weeks in which their exam papers are being assessed, students are expected to continue their own research and study. Reflecting the requirements of most industry lead bodies for evidence, postgraduate, of continuing professional development, the student will require to submit a record of research and study each week and there will be opportunity for discussion of topics studied. Contact with the school utilising telephone appointments will facilitate this.
Responses to case study feedback and updates on volunteer progress will also be submitted during this period.

| PART 5 Weeks 21 – 46 | Sunday 29.07.12 – Saturday 26.01.13 |
On successful completion of Parts 1- 4 the graduate will be offered full membership of the National Society of Professional Hypnotherapists and a Mentor will be allocated by the NSPH. This mentor will be available for support and guidance for the following 6 months. There will always however, be experienced hypnotherapists to call on, whenever required, through the NSPH hotline.
During that period, after obtaining necessary insurance to practise, the graduate will be required to complete two further case studies involving hypnoanalysis.
Completion of Part 5 to the necessary standard will gain the graduate THE CERTIFICATE OF THE SCOTTISH SCHOOL OF HYPNOTHERAPY
